2-3 Weeks Before: Stop shaving the area you want sugared/waxed - your hair needs to be at least 1/4" long (about a grain of rice) to ensure all hairs can be easily removed. 1 Week Before: Stop using retinol on areas you plan to be sugared/waxed

2-3 Days Before: Exfoliate area to remove dead skin. We recommend using an exfoliating mitt (sold in our studio) Day Of: Come to your appointment freshly showered & clean. Skip the lotions/oils on area to be sugared/waxed.

• Avoid touching freshly sugared/waxed areas & sweating for 24 hours to prevent clogging hair follicles / ingrown hairs.

• Avoid exposing freshly sugared/waxed areas to the sun, hot tubs, & pools for 48 hours.

• Hydrate freshly sugared/waxed area daily with bikini oil for best results.

• Start exfoliating area 2 days after appointment & continue to exfoliate 2-3 times a week using an exfoliating mitt.

Brazilian/Bikini Sugaring: Avoid intimacy for 24 hours. If you're prone to ingrown hairs, avoid for 48 hours to be safe.

Sugaring/waxing is not recommended if you've taken Accutane in the past 12 months for your safety.

Yes you can - menstruating does not affect the sugaring process. However, you may be more sensitive to pain right before & during your period. We require that you use a tampon or cup/disc during a Brazilian sugaring if you're currently on your period for hygienic purposes.

Yes, but clients under the age of 18 require a parent/guardian's signature before any sugaring/waxing services. Clients must be 16+ for a Brazilian service.

Sugaring/waxing results last around 3-5 weeks. Sugaring/waxing will most likely reduce hair growth over time, meaning you'll have less hair to sugar/wax each time a new appointment rolls around!

While it's typical for a little pain for most hair removal, many report sugaring is less painful than waxing. Sugar paste only removes hair & dead skin, causing less trauma to live skin cells. As you sugar regularly, hair growth slows and hair becomes lighter/thinner, resulting in even less pain!

If you're nervous about pain, you can take an over the counter pain medication (Tylenol, Advil, etc.) about an hour before your appointment.
